Personal Capital – first(ish) impression

In my quest to retire early I’ve stumbled upon a lot of good Personal Finance information online. My latest obsession is with J$ and Paula P’s M.O.N.E.Y. podcast. It has led me to J$’s budgetsaresexy blog wherein he preaches the importance of knowing and tracking your net worth. His site mentions a few of the free online tools that can provide this sort of information but it looks like Personal Capital is held in a little higher regard so I thought I’d give it a shot. Paralyzed with Indecision

Well, similar to what happened with, I find that I am overcome by the decisions and design options I have after having paid for a web site.  I need to focus on getting content out there instead of worrying about the look.  I hope to publish at least 2 posts a week.  That is a tall order and this post is cheating…

NAS research

I greatly depend on my NAS at home. I pride myself in keeping nothing locally on my laptop so that I can blow it away at any time. It is not as painless as I like to convince myself it is, but I DO try to use the NAS to store everything that needs to stick around. My current NAS solution is reaching its end of life so I am contemplating getting a new one. Keep reading →
