Well, here’s something I learned: pick up the newspaper before mowing the grass. Even if the newspaper isn’t in the grass. Even if you are sure you will avoid/miss it since it is on pavement. Even if you think you’re really careful and won’t need to pick it up. Just do it already.
…the grass is the boss.
It does not make sense to cut the grass when I want to cut the grass or when it is convenient for me to cut the grass. It only makes sense to cut the grass when the grass needs to be cut.
